Yo nick i know you probably get this a lot but f- it. Your one of my favorite fighters not just because your good or because you came from a hard neighbor hood and made it out (like me). I am from Houston, Texas a hard neighbor hood or "ghetto" but unlike most i was an athlete: amateur boxer and a D- linemen. Long story short, even though i love boxing i elected football over it because i received a scholarship to play in college. But like you i take my "job" (because thats what it is, they pay for my education and i play ball) Very seriously. I get very PISSED OFF when i see people on my team joking around or thinking its a big joke "worrying about what color shoes their going to wear at the game" because if this doesn't work out for them they can always do something else. Like you, you see fake mma fighters joking around dieing their hair, painting their toes, ect. (or in my case, face paint, gloves, helmet stickers, shoes, tape, jewelry ect.) I want to scream at them." Are you f***king serious? your worried about all this BS? This is my life and my future!! This is how I eat and its also how i am going to feed my children! If we don't win and they have to cut scholarships I'll be back mopping floors and taking out trash!! But its ok for you because daddy and mommy or whoever will always be there if this doesn't work out!"
